Roll Call reports:
“I can show you where the people have made horrible accusations and things they were going to do to members of my family, and I couldn’t even get Capitol Hill police to respond to my phone calls about it,” Rep. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., said Friday on CNN when discussing a voicemail left for another member’s wife.

It may be taking longer than we originally thought, but we’re following the rules and going through the process to elect a Speaker. I don’t care what side they’re on, the dirtbags sending death threats to members of Congress and their families need to be thrown in jail. pic.twitter.com/sMlvuziBcq

My vote card belongs to me and the people of NY’s First Congressional District. I will not succumb to threats. Rather, I’ll support a Speaker candidate who will fund the WTC Health Fund, Nat’l Flood Insurance and SALT, while keeping the gov’t open + secure border & cut spending. pic.twitter.com/uCms7xl3Co
