A large crowd of Trump supporters, protestors, journalists and curious onlookers toughed the Georgia heat on Thursday to await former President Trump’s expected arrival at the Fulton County Jail. Trump’s plane departed New Jersey on Thursday evening, and he posted on social media that he expects to arrive at the jail around 7:30pm. He could have his mug shot taken upon surrendering, which would be a first for a U.S. president. A truck dropped off additional barricades mid-morning to keep people out of the roadway. Shortly after, Atlanta firefighters arrived to help secure the area.
